Shopping Process~The On-line Shopping Experience

Products are added to the Shopping Basket by clicking on the respective item's "Add to Basket" buttons or by selecting the item in the dropdown list and clicking the adjacent "Buy" button. A pop-up dialog will appear, confirming the addition of the item to the Shopping Basket. The item will appear in the "Your Basket" panel at the bottom of the web page along with an updated grand total (includes P&P). Un-wanted items can later be removed from the Shopping Basket by placing a tick in the respective item's "Delete" box (left hand side of display) in the Checkout page.

Once you have added items to the Shopping Basket, you can then check on the total contents and P&P costs in the Shopping Basket by clicking on the the Checkout button/links. Whislt in the Shopping Basket page, you can either resume your shopping or complete the Checkout by selecting the various options such as preferred Payment & Shipping Methods, and filling in the basic essential personal details.

Print the CheckOut ('Print Form' button) before sending the order. For Credit / Debit Card payments, you will be transferred to WorldPay's 'padlocked' secure server where card details can be submitted safely. Once orders have been placed (regardless of payment method), a confirmation will be emailed to you complete with a Order Reference Number. If paying other than Credit/Debit Card, you will receive a second email within 24hrs detailing relevant payment details.

Once your order has been dispatched, we will notify you via email, detailing the shipment and estimated delivery time.

NB - Should you experience problems in placing orders or viewing certain pages, it could be due to one or more of the following:-
- disabled cookies on your PC
- firewall software on company networks & home PC's.

Cookies - like many e-commerce systems, our shopping cart system requires cookies to be stored on your computer. If your computer does not accept cookies, you may experience difficulties in placing an order. If you prefer not to adjust your browser's settings, please email us for alternative ordering methods. Firewalls - some firewalls on company networks and home PC's may also cause problems with shopping carts - contact your system administrator / software suppport should you experience problems.

Credit & Debit Cards
  1. Place your order by adding items to the Basket.
  2. In the Checkout page, select "Credit or Debit Card" as the Payment Method and complete / check all the Checkout data
  3. After you have submitted the order, you will automatically be re-directed to the secure WorldPay server, where you will provide your card details.
  4. After you have successfully submitted your card details, you will receive an auto-email confirming the order.
Direct Deposits (UK only)
  1. Place your order by adding items to the Basket.
  2. In the Checkout page, select "Direct Deposit - UK residents" as the Payment Method and complete / check all the Checkout data
  3. After you have submitted the order, you will receive an auto-email confirming the order.
  4. You will receive a further email (within 12 hrs) detailing relevant Natwest Bank deposit instructions.
  5. Go to the local Natwest Bank branch (or use internet banking) and make your deposit into our account. (We will not make arrangements to debit your card.) Ensure that you use our Order No. as the Reference Code in the deposit.
  6. Inform us of the details of the deposit by replying to the payment instruction email that we sent you - keep your bank deposit slip for reference.
Sterling Cheques, Postal Orders, International Money Order / Bank Drafts
  1. Place your order by adding items to the Basket.
  2. In the Checkout, select "Sterling Cheque / Postal Orders" or "International Bank to Bank Transfer" as the Payment Method and complete / check all the Checkout data
  3. After you have submitted the order, you will receive an auto-email confirming the order.
  4. You will receive a further email (within 12 hrs) detailing relevant payment instructions.
  5. Inform us of the posting of the cheque/order/draft by replying to the payment instruction email that we sent you.
NOTE: Ensure that we receive the full amount for the order after any bank charges that may be imposed on our side when paying via "International Bank to Bank Transfer".

Non-Sterling Cheques, Postal Orders, International Money Order / Bank Drafts.
Due to bank charges that we incur with these types of transactions, you will need to add £15.00 to your order. (Alternatively ensure that all bank charges are paid by yourself - IE the funds that we receive is to be no less than the total amount of the order itself after any charges that may be applied in processing the funds on our side).
  1. Click on the £15.00 'Bank Charges' button below.
  2. Place your order by adding items to the Basket.
  3. In the Checkout, select "Non-Sterling MO/ Draft/Cheque" as the Payment Method and complete / check all the Checkout data.
  4. After you have submitted the order, you will receive an auto-email confirming the order.
  5. You will receive a further email (within 12 hrs) detailing relevant payment instructions.
  6. Inform us of the posting of the cheque/order/draft by replying to the payment instruction email that we sent you.

If you do not currently have a PayPal account, you will be directed to open one. For more information about PayPal, see http://www.paypal.com/
  1. Place your order by adding items to the Basket.
  2. In the Checkout, select "PayPal" as the Payment Method and complete / check all the Checkout data
  3. After you have submitted the order, you will receive an auto-email confirming the order.
  4. You will receive an further email (within 12 hrs), sent via PayPal, a PayPal "Money Request". This contains relevant links to initiate payment into the correct account.
Important Notice: Please note that there may be some long delivery times to some countries (IE - Economy Mail shipping option 6-12 weeks to USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, etc) plus some books may not get dispatched instantly (is not stocked readily - EG 'Print-On-Demand' titles - dispatched 1-4 weeks later). If you wish to pay via PayPal, it is with the understanding AND agreement that you may encounter long delivery times with some of the books in your order. We will endeavour to keep you posted as to the progress of your order should it be unduly delayed.

Shipping~Surface and Airmail options available - selected whilst in Checkout section. Shipping costs are calculated according to total weight of order & country to be shipped from/to. You can see updated total P&P costs, calculated in realtime, in the Checkout - ensure that the correct "ship to country" is selected AND the correct shipping option (IE Economy A & B). We will inform you via email, once your order has been dispatched, of the estimated delivery date (low stock titles - allow up to 30 days before dispatch). We cannot guarantee availability of items as publishers can change release dates or de-list titles at short notice - should you have ordered and paid for an "un-available" item, we will either refund or provide a Gift Voucher (redeemable on next order).

We keep packaging small - IE 3-4 average sized books in one parcel, IE multiple orders are generally split and shipped separately.

Insurance Cover~If you require insurance cover on high value items, please add the appropriate level of cover. In the event of multiple books in an order, the maximum number of books in a parcel is 3. Should there be an underpayment of Insurance Cover against the total value of books in the order, the Insurance Cover will be applied to parcels containing the most expensive books in the order. (or leave a Note in Checkout Page)
Examples:-
7 books @ £50.00 ea = 2 x Level 2, plus 1 x Level 1 (3 parcels).
1 book @ £400.00, 2 books @ £110 ea = 1 x Level 3, plus 1 x Level 2 (2 parcels).

Dispatches
We endevour to dispatch within 1-10 working days after receiving the order. Where payment is via cheque or direct deposit, the order is only processed on cheque/deposit clearance. Print-On-Demand titles / Leatherbound books are made to order - allow 10-15 working days before dispatch.Multiple book orders - books may be dispatched separately. The total P&P (excluding TrackTrace) that you pay is the same whether books go in one large box or several small packets.

Typical average delivery periods after dispatch.
Most of the books & prints are dispatched from Southern Africa or the UK, book codes usually indicate location, explained under Shipping selection in the Checkout. It is essential that you select the correct Economy option, based on the majority of the codes of the books in your order.

Airmail - 5-10 working days to most countries.
Surface Mail - USA, UK, Europe - 6-10 wks / Canada, NZ, Australia - 12 weeks.

Occasionally there may be a late delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, especially with some long distance surface (sea) mail shippings.

It is the responsibilty of the purchaser to cover any Custom Duties that may be levied on parcels on delivery.

Important Notes - "In-correct" Delivery Address & Non-collection
- Please ensure that the correct Delivery Address is supplied in respect of international mail as returned parcels will be to your cost on reposting back to you. IE some countries have multiple postal services, of which some will not deliver international mail to certain types of addresses (ie rural farms etc).
- Please ensure that arrangements are made to collect parcels timeously (EG away on vacation/business or re-locating) as you will be liable for any postal charges (return postage) levied by postal services due to non-collection within a set time period after delivery as laid down by your local post office.

Should futher postal charges be incurred by us due to either of the above events occuring, we will inform you via email. Arrangements will be made with you regarding the order - either you pay for the return postage plus repostage back to you OR we refund you the total cost of the order minus the cost of the original postage and the cost of the Return Postage back to us (if we are charged for the return postage).

Returns/Refunds Policy~We will gladly replace damaged new (collectable / rare excepted) books/prints provided books/prints are dispatched back to us within 5 days of receipt. We will pay the shipping charges of the new shipment. Contact us BEFORE returning books/parcels - to confirm return postal address to use.

Occasionally there may be delays with deliveries due to the postal services involved - this is beyond our control. Should a parcel be more than 2 weeks late, we will initiate a parcel trace plus request that you do the same with your post office (for countries other than Southern Africa). Please allow sufficient time before requesting refunds.

Should an order be determined to be lost and untraceable, we will refund you the full price that you paid, via the same payment method/channel that you used. (EG paid by Cheque, refund by cheque, etc).~~~393~436~~
